Give Kids a Smile Day Participant
The American Dental Association began the “Give Kids a Smile” program in 2003 as a way for dentists to join with others in the community to provide dental services to underserved children. What started as a one-day event in February has grown to local and national events year-round. Dentists volunteer their time and services to provide screenings, treatments and education to children throughout the United States. Each year, approximately 350,000 children benefit from more than 1,500 events, all because of the efforts of 40,000 or more annual volunteers.

“National Children’s Dental Health Month” School Visits
Each February, the American Dental Association (ADA) sponsors National Children’s Dental Health Month to raise awareness about the importance of oral health. The messages and materials from this month-long event have reached millions of people in communities across the country.

Developing good habits at an early age and scheduling regular dental visits help children get a good start on a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums.

Annual Halloween Candy Buy-Back
Every Halloween, Williamsburg Dental Health Clinic offers a candy buy-back. Every piece of candy your child brings in can be traded for extra cash.
